JOIN US FOR “FORGED“

Forge a Bond That Lasts a Lifetime

The years with your sons fly by, but the memories you build right now will stay with them forever. This is your chance to step away from the daily noise and invest in what matters most:

Your relationship with your boy.

What Your Journey Includes:

  • Rest: 2 nights of comfortable accommodations to recharge together.

  • Feasts fit for men: Hearty gourmet meals to fuel your adventures, and plenty of snacks and beverages for the rest of the day. (Friday dinner, all meals on Saturday, and Sunday breakfast and lunch)

  • Spiritual grounding: Solid Bible teaching to anchor your shared faith and forge the bond in your father and son relationship.

  • Sharpen your focus: Shot-gunning including ammo, certified instruction, and friendly competition.

  • Aim true: Archery and basic to advanced instruction.

  • Epic battlefields: Fully equipped, officiated Airsoft battle.

  • Friendly rivalry: Heart-pumping archery tag battles.

  • Creation & legacy: Professionally guided knife forging workshop with all the materials provided to take home a physical reminder of your bond.

  • All this plus a dedicated team to care for and serve you for only $250 per person

Some things to consider:

  • This is a time for you to rest well and play hard. Dads, do all you can to clear your calendars and minds to be fully present in this special time with your boys.

  • For those with more than one son, we encourage you to consider recruiting grandfathers, uncles, or close friends to join you so you can spend some individual time with each of your boys.

  • This will be an incredible opportunity for dads to speak a blessing over their boys. We encourage you dads to think deeply about that (maybe even write it down). We hope to create a special ceremonial opportunity for you do just that.

  • There may be dads and boys in your life that may feel disconnected. This is just the kind of event they need to fill them up, refocus their purpose and relationships, and to find much needed fellowship with other men and boys. Take a chance and invite someone in your circle to join you.

  • If you or someone or you know is an empty nester, doesn’t have sons, or simply has a heart for investing in the life of a young man, consider bringing a boy to camp whose father can’t attend or could benefit from the presence of a positive father figure. Special rates may apply for this. Please contact Scott Fameli, the Executive Director of Canyonview to be considered.

What do I need to bring:

  • Your Bibles and an appetite for God’s Word and truth.

  • An appetite for some hearty man size meals.

  • Clothes for different kinds of weather (warm, cold, cool, and wet) *and an extra set for the wet part. Long sleeves and closed toed shoes will be necessary for a good number of the activities.

  • Your own fishing gear if you want to fish. If you don’t have any, we have plenty. (and we’ll supply the bait)

  • Your sleeping gear (pillows, blankets, sleeping bags…)

  • A freshly powered flashlight

  • Personal care items (towels, toiletries, medications…)

  • A hunger for physical and spiritual fun and challenge.

  • We encourage you to pray as dads and sons for what God has for you on this special weekend. We know He’ll be here!
