Teen Leadership Volunteer Programs

Teens in Ministry (TIM) Program

Teen Volunteers | Ages 14–17

Do you love Jesus and want to serve others this summer? The Teens in Ministry (TIM) program gives teens the opportunity to grow in their faith while helping create an incredible camp experience for children.

TIMs serve alongside our camp staff, supporting programs, mentoring younger campers, and helping behind the scenes so every camper feels welcomed, safe, and loved.

Program Focus

The TIM program helps teens grow in three important areas:

Faith
Develop a deeper relationship with Christ through Bible studies, devotions, and meaningful conversations about faith.

Service
Learn what it means to serve others with humility, kindness, and joy while helping younger campers have a great camp experience.

Leadership
Build responsibility, teamwork, and communication skills while assisting staff and supporting camp programs.

How TIMs Serve

TIMs may serve in a variety of roles throughout the week, including:

  • Assisting counselors with camper activities

  • Helping younger campers feel included and supported

  • Serving on Service Crew, helping with camp setup and daily operations

  • Supporting program areas like games, crafts, and activities

  • Helping with meals, cleanup, and general camp needs

TIMs play an important role in creating a fun, encouraging, and Christ-centered camp environment.

Ranch Hand Program

Teen Volunteers | Ages 15–17

Do you love Jesus, horses, and serving others? The Ranch Hand Program is a unique opportunity for teens to grow in faith, horsemanship, and leadership while helping create an unforgettable camp experience for younger riders.

Ranch Hands serve alongside our equestrian staff, learning responsibility, teamwork, and horse care while mentoring campers.

Program Focus

Our goal is to help each Ranch Hand grow in three key areas:

Faith
Grow deeper in your relationship with Christ through Bible studies, devotions, and Scripture memorization.

Horsemanship
Develop practical horse knowledge through weekly riding lessons, horsemanship workshops, and hands-on horse care.

Leadership
Build integrity, responsibility, and communication skills while assisting with campers and equestrian activities.

Ranch Hand Responsibilities

Ranch Hands help support the daily operations of the equestrian program by:

  • Attending staff meetings

  • Assisting campers with grooming, saddling, and horse care

  • Helping instructors during arena lessons

  • Feeding horses and completing barn chores

  • Supporting safe and positive camper experiences

Each lesson hour includes grooming, saddling, riding, and unsaddling so campers learn proper horse care.
