Field Guides play a key role in creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment for visiting school groups. In this position, you’ll lead outdoor activities, guide small student groups on nature hikes, teach hands-on science lessons, and help students explore forests, wildlife, ecosystems, and environmental stewardship. Every day brings new adventures—whether you're identifying plants on the trail, teaching about animal habitats, or leading evening camp activities.
This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy teaching, mentoring youth, and spending their days outside while building leadership, communication, and environmental education skills.
Compensation
$600 per week
Free room and board provided during the program
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Enthusiastic about working with youth and being outdoors
Comfortable leading activities and speaking in front of groups
Positive attitude and team mindset
