Whether you're a beginner eager to learn the basics or an experienced rider refining your skills, our dedicated instructors provide personalized lessons in a supportive and faith-based environment.

Ages 6 & 7 – Lead Line Only Lessons (30-minute private sessions)
Ages 8 & Up – Private, Semi-Private, and Group Lesson options (1hr sessions)

Lesson Pricing

Private 1-Hour Lesson – $50
Semi-Private 1-Hour Lesson (2 Riders) – $45 per rider
Group 1-Hour Lesson (3-4 Riders) – $40 per rider
Private 30-Minute Lead Line Lesson (Ages 6 & 7) – $40

Lesson Schedule

FALL LESSONS BEGIN SEPTEMBER 28, 2026

Lessons Offered: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at various times. All times are listed when you fill out a lesson request form.

Each lesson hour includes: Grooming, saddling, and unsaddling to ensure riders learn proper horse care

Lessons are scheduled based on availability.

To ensure the best match for your schedule and goals, fill out the lesson request form with your preferred lesson type and time slot availability. Once we receive your preferences, our team will contact you to confirm your lesson time if we have availability.

Important Information & FAQ

- Weight Limit: 220 pounds
- Maximum Students per Lesson: 4
- Helmets Provided (or bring your own – must meet safety standards & not be expired; bike helmets are not acceptable)
- Limited Supply of Boots Available (must wear socks if borrowing boots)
- Long Pants Required for all lessons
Do I have to sign up for an entire year of lessons?
No. You can sign up for as many or as few lessons as you like. Just communicate with our staff, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Do I get to choose the horse I ride?
We do our best to accommodate requests for specific horses, but we cannot always guarantee them.
Can I request to ride with a friend?
Yes! When you fill out the lesson request form, there is a space to include your friend’s name. You’ll need to choose a semi-private or group lesson. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Participant Cancellations:
- More than 24 hours before the lesson: Payments may be transferred to the next scheduled lesson. No refunds will be issued.
- Less than 24 hours before the lesson: Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Canyonview Cancellations:
- If Canyonview staff needs to cancel a lesson, the payment will be either refunded or transferred, based on the participant's preference.
