FAQ

  • Check-In: Monday - Friday at 9:00 AM
    Drop-off at the Ranch (Follow signs to Horse Camp Check-In – go left at the split in the road)

    Check-Out:

    Monday - Thursday at 4:00 PM (Same location as drop-off)

    The person picking up must be on the approved list and present a valid picture ID.

    Please check out with staff before leaving with your child.

  • $10 Late Fee applies if balances are not paid in full a week before camp begins.

    Visa & MasterCard accepted – Call our office to complete payment.

    All campers must be registered online before attending.
    No walk-in registrations.

    • Sleeping bag & pillow

    • Toiletries (Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc.)

    • Child’s Medication (Must be checked in with camp leader)

    • Clothes for the season (Cool evenings/ mornings, warm days)

    • Modest one-piece swimsuit or swim trunks

    • Towels (For showering & lake time)

    • Riding Helmet (Optional – must be approved by an instructor)

    • Cowboy Boots (Optional – boots available to borrow if needed)

    • Clothes to sleep in
      Sneakers or other close-toed shoes

    • Creek-walking shoes/sandals

    • Long pants (for riding) & Shorts (for lake time)

    • Sunscreen & Insect Repellent

    • Pen/Pencil & Notebook/Paper

    • Bible

    • Flashlight

    • Water Bottle

    • Electronic devices (Cell phones, iPads, smartwatches, video games)

      • All electronics will be stored until the end of camp.

    • Candy/Food (Plenty of food is provided!)

  • We understand that overnight camp can be a big step for both campers and parents. Here’s how we ensure a fun and safe experience:

    • Supervised environment – Kids do not keep their cell phones. If they need to contact you, we will facilitate communication.

    • If you want to leave a phone with us, it must be checked in at registration.

    • Encouraging an unplugged experience – Campers will make new friends and gain new experiences without distractions.

    • Your child will have plenty of stories to share when they get home!

A Unique Blend of Faith & Horsemanship
This overnight horse camp is designed to encourage campers to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, improve their horsemanship skills, and experience fellowship and outdoor adventure. Campers will enjoy cozy cabins, delicious food, and a welcoming environment full of fun and faith.

Throughout the week, campers will experience daily horseback riding lessons, interactive ground lessons and horse science, meaningful time in the Word, swim time and outdoor fun, creative crafts, and so much more!

When: Drop-off Monday at 9 a.m. | Pick-up: Either Wednesday or Friday at 4 p.m. (depending on camp)

Location: Canyonview Ministries Ranch

Riders in the Spotlight- Wednesday or Friday
