How can you help make a difference?
What can I do? I'm just one person.

Each day people are continually coming in and out of the canyon--whether for deliveries, meetings, camps, or tours. This means there are many opportunities for service--repair and upkeep of property, buildings, and equipment; cleaning and painting; food service and dish washing; answering the phone and preparing mailings; counseling in camps. Volunteer help for these tasks furthers God's work at Canyonview, and in turn, Canyonview give you opportunities to use your God-given gifts.

Kitchen Duties

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the large groups Canyonview has during the summer months is a gigantic effort. Food service is also required at off-site venues and other special functions at various times throughout the year. Food preparation is in a supervised area that is labor intensive. All hands are welcome and needed as we strive to bless those who come to fellowship with us.

Maintenance Duties:

  • Leaf blower/leaf raking

  • Trail upkeep (bark dust spreading, brush clearing)

  • Tree trimming

  • Lawn mowing (push mower)

  •  Professional care for machines, tools, etc.

Horses:

Canyonview takes care of and feeds daily 35 horses year round. Volunteers who are willing to feed are always welcome (Volunteers should be able to lift up to 30 pounds).

We love volunteers at Canyonview Camp! It is our hope that God will lead you to join us and to serve beside our staff in the way that suits you best.

Please call us at (971) 239-1347, or email info.canyonview@gmail.com for more information.
