Most horse camps for 2022 are day camps, except for Mother/Daughter and Epic Equestrian.
Check-in at 8am, check-out at 5pm.
Every week we have a different horse camp
...but they all have the same basic schedule, with a few different activities in them. Some are for girls only and others might focus on Old West or English themes.
Canyonview camps give your child a chance to enjoy the unconditional love of big friendly animal. So many kids have had a magical time riding, grooming, and caring for a beautiful horse.
At every horse camp your son or daughter will:
Have riding lessons to advance their skills
Learn about horse training, nutrition, breeds
Clean and groom their horse and his stall
Eat lunch and play games with other campers their age
Enjoy activities like the Leatherwork, Swimming, and Creekwalking
Have Bible studies about God's grace and His creation
All horse camps are designed for those that want to improve their skills in the saddle (including beginners) and develop a relationship with their horse, friends, and God! Activities include: Horseback Riding Lessons with certified instructors • Learning about horses and taking care of them • Group Games • Bible studies • Fun Activities!
Epic Equestrian Teens (OVERNIGHT, Girls 13-17) - This Equestrian Camp has something for everyone! If you're new to English or Western riding or have been riding for years, this camp is for you. Great week of quality arena lessons and educational, interactive ground lessons. We will focus on the fundamentals of riding. Teens 13-17 only.
Horse Lovers Camp - (Boys & Girls, 8-17) Designed for those that want to improve their skills in the saddle (including beginners), and develop a relationship with their horse, friends and God!
Litl’ Ranchers Day Camp - (Boys & Girls, 8-12) -Come on for a day full of fun and horses. Litl’ Rancher Day Camp is a unique blend of biblical teaching and horsemanship instruction geared towards encouraging campers to build their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ while improving their equine skills. No teenagers in this one!
Mother Daughter Horse Camp - (OVERNIGHT, Ladies & Girls 8-up) Mothers and daughters are invited to get away from the chaos of life for a fun and relaxing retreat. Enjoy God’s amazing creation together for a time of fellowship, time in the Word, and of course, horseback riding! What better way to spend a few days with family and other moms and daughters?
Range Riders Horsemanship (Boys & Girls, 8-17) - Campers will focus more on the outdoors and all God has created for us. Come enjoy God's amazing creation during this adventure!
Saddle-Up Horse Camp - (Boys & Girls, 8-17) Designed for both boys and girls who want to improve their skills in English or Western. Ride mornings and afternoons, with lots of food, learning, and fun in between. Doesn't matter whether you're a beginner or advanced. This camp is for everyone.
Teen Rider Girls - (Girls 13-17) - Designed for teen girls who want to improve their skills in the saddle (including beginners), and develop a relationship with their horse, friends and God! Teen Girls 13-17 only.
Wild West Horsemanship (Boys & Girls 8-17) - A week of "Rootin' Tootin' " western adventure! Our Cowboys and Cowgirls will focus on their riding and ranch skills. The Buckaroos will gain skills in riding, roping, and livestock care. Build friendships and learn what it means to be a true friend on the trail of life.
REGISTRATION closes for each camp on the Wednesday before each camp. For those desiring to register after Wednesday, please call our office for availability at: 971-239-1347. Please know we may not have spaces available to register your child.

Most Horsemanship Camps run Monday-Friday.
Because of the COVID-19 regulations, most horse camps for 2022 are day camps. Check-in at 8am, check-out at 5pm.
IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION: There will be a $10 Late Fee applied to balances not paid in full a week before camp begins. Please log back into your online account and pay the balance. If you have problems logging back into your account, please call our main office to pay over the phone. We accept Visa or MasterCard.
CABIN MATE REQUEST: When registering, campers can request to be roomed with friends, family or other campers they know will be attending the same camp. Campers cannot be requested to be in the same riding/rotation group together since riding groups are made by staff based on each campers riding ability.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel for any reason, please call our office as soon as possible. Remember, however, the deposit is non-refundable.
