2023 Year End Fundraiser

Your annual gifts have an important impact on the camping ministry at Canyonview.  Giving now will enable us to complete Bear and Beaver cabins and prepare camp for the big year ahead.  Some important projects that are moving forward:

  • Cabin & Bathhouse construction

  • New septic system to enable additional camper housing

  • Purchase of a track hoe and important construction tools

 

We expect nearly 3000 kids to come to the Canyon this year to be encouraged and see God's love in action.  Last year many campers made professions of faith in the Lord Jesus and we thank you for taking part in this.

$50,000 in Matching Funds
This year, a generous donor has decided to match all gifts up to a total of $50,000!  Your giving will have double the impact this year.

 

The Canyonview 2023 Year End Fundraiser is a key fund-raising event where we all give together. 
 

You can donate to Canyonview through your IRA, Will, or Trust

All donations to Canyonview are tax deductible and can be made through debit, credit, automatic withdrawal or personal checks.
All checks should be made out to Canyonview Ministries (PO BOX 128, Silverton, OR 97381) and should be postmarked by Dec 31.

If you would like to donate a large gift, please consider sending a check directly to Canyonview to reduce our processing costs.

IRA
Donate to Canyonview through your IRA, Will, or Trust

 

Talk to your attorney or accountant about the potential tax benefits for you and your family by donating your IRA distribution and/or

including charitable organizations in your will or trust.

 

The language of a bequest is important, but does not need to be complex. Here is an example:

 

“I hereby give and bequeath ________(a specific gift or percentage of the residue of my estate) to Bible Teaching, Inc. dba Canyonview

Ministries—whose legal address is PO Box 128, Silverton, Oregon 97381 and whose tax ID is 93-6034508—for such purposes as Bible Teaching, Inc. dba Canyonview Ministries shall determine are in the best interest of the organization.”

 

A qualified charitable distribution may be made:

¨ From a Traditional IRS

¨ When the IRA holder is age 70.5 years or older

¨ Directly from the IRA to Bible Teaching, Inc. dba Canyonview Ministries
