DAY CAMP 2024

Local churches partner with Canyonview to bring kids to Day Camp each week of the summer.

DAY CAMP happens Monday-Friday for kids entering 1st–6th grades. Kids arrive at 8:30am in the morning and leave for home at 3:30 that afternoon.

FRIDAY IS FAMILY NIGHT:  Campers are dropped off at noon and family night ends at 8pm.

COST: $135

Days at Canyonview are packed with fun activities, games, songs, stories and awesome Bible times about God's Son Jesus Christ! As campers arrive each morning, they'll meet our staff and take a short hike down to scenic Drift Creek. They'll find the Monkey House, Teepee, Noah's Ark,  and lots more! 5th-6th grade students will get to fly on our 350' zipline over the creek. Enjoy the ride!

Some of the fun activities your kids will enjoy are:

  • Archery

  • Pony Rides

  • Creek Walk

  • Nature Hike

  • Outdoor Cooking

  • Candle Making

  • Team Building

  • Swimming

Treasure!

"My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding in order that they may know the mystery of God namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

Friday Family Night:

We will host Family Night for the entire family Friday evening. Please bring your kids to be dropped off at Canyonview by 11:45 am, and make sure they bring a lunch with them as it will be the first thing we do!

Pick up is at 6:00 pm and the evening program will last until approx 8:00 pm.

A special family picnic dinner will be starting at 6:30 PM.  All family members are invited to join us. Please bring food for your family including your camper. This will be a picnic style dinner instead of a potluck like we have done in the past to minimize risk in our post pandemic world. There is limited parking space in the lower canyon, reserved for the elderly and handicapped or those with strollers.    Please be sure to wear good walking shoes and appropriate clothes for picnicking.

Please bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on and place settings for your family.  After dinner the campers and staff will put on a program sharing stories and songs from camp.

Family Night will end at approximately 8:00 PM.

Camp shirts and other items will be available and you may purchase them at our camp store.

Costs range from $1 to $35.

(Cash, Check or Card welcome)

For those parents unable to come, you will need to make arrangements to pick up your child at the camp at 6:00 pm.
