  • A helmet is required for all riders under the age of 18 (bike helmets are not allowed). If you don’t own your own, we have helmets you can borrow.

  • You will need boots that are properly fitted; cover the ankle; and have a hard, smooth sole with a ½ to 2 inch heel (hiking boots do not qualify) We do have boots you may borrow.

  • Jeans for riding

  • Wear shirts that have either a short or long sleeves (tank tops may only be worn during lake time or at night in their cabin).

  • Because of the limitations of the horses we have at this time, riders need to weigh less than 225 pounds. If you are over this weight limit, please call our office immediately: 971-239-1347.

  • Clothes for the season

  • Sneakers

  • Creek-walking shoes (not flip-flops—strap-on sandals, aqua socks, or an old pair of sneakers work well).

  • Towels

  • Modest 1-piece swimsuit (modest tankinis are ok, per Director’s discretion) or shorts for creek-walking

  • Bible (literal translation, please)

  • Pen/pencil

  • Notebook/paper

  • Waterbottle

Check-Out time stated above. 

THE TRADING POST: (Canyonview's horsemanship store) will be open during check-out at the end of each camp in the Ranch.

Cash or checks are preferred.

IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION: There will be a $10 Late Fee applied to balances not paid in full a week before camp begins. We accept Visa or MasterCard, so feel free to call in your payment.


CANCELLATION: If you need to cancel for any reason, please call our office as soon as possible. Remember, however, the deposit is non-refundable


All individuals must be registered online before attending.

No walk-in registrations.


  • Electronic devices (MP3 players/i-pods/cell phones/video games). Please leave all electronics at home. If brought, they will be stored until the end of the week. 

  • Candy/Food (you’ll receive plenty of food here)

  • Knives

CABIN MATE REQUEST: Campers cannot request to be in the same riding/rotation group together since riding groups are made by staff based on each campers riding ability.
